NOTICE
All final-year engineering students intending to pursue an Industrial internship or Institutional Project during their final semester are required to comply with the following:
- Confirmation Deadline: Submit confirmed offer details (company name, offer letter, and start date) to the Training & Placement Cell by the extended deadline of December 31st, 2024.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Prior to commencing the internship or on-the-job training, students must obtain an NOC from the institute. Provide the offer letter and a written request to the Training & Placement Cell for processing.
- Duration Requirement: The internship must span a minimum of four months. Any internship shorter than this duration will not be approved for academic credit.
- Full-Time Job Offers: Full-time job offers may be considered if they satisfy academic requirements and are approved by the institute, with provisions for leaves during midterm and final assessments.
- Students who fail to submit their internship/on-the-job training offer details by the stated deadline will be presumed to continue with their Major Project work at the Institute from January 16, 2025, to May 20, 2025, as per the regular academic schedule.
- Project Selection Details: Students who are not opting for an internship or whose internships are not approved must select a Major Project in lieu of industrial training. Form or join a team of 1–3 members (as per project guidelines) and submit your final selection to the Major Project Coordinator on or before January 10, 2025.
